The Heartache of Pre-Natal Passing
Posted by Lisa Stevens on
October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss awareness month. It is a hard topic to talk about, so it is important that we do talk about it, so others know they are not alone. Our pregnancy loss began early in our marriage. Actually, there was a good chance we would have lost Adrianna (our first) if it had been before the time of ultrasounds. The placenta had pulled away from the wall of the uterus and I was on bedrest for a good chunk of the pregnancy. I always had this weird "I don't want anyone to know we were trying...

Leave The Fixing To Another Day
Posted by Lisa Stevens on
I have a love/hate relationship with writing blogs. I enjoy writing them....when they write themselves....when I put my pen to paper (or fingers to the keyboard) and I just let loose and don't have to really think about what I am writing...it just pours out of me. Hot chocolate, tea, a warm cup of anything to warm myself from the inside out. Fuzzy socks to keep my feet warm on cold floors. Cuddling on the couch, without being too warm....
Will It Blend
Posted by Lisa Stevens on
I have sold many Blendtecs....at least 3 or 4...which might not sound like a lot...but 1) I do not really sell Blendtecs and 2) they are expensive, so not an overly easy sell. lol I bought myself a Vitamix many years ago...I was so excited. I had saved up, sold things I no longer loved or needed, I scrimped and saved every penny...birthday money, nickels found on the ground...lol I could not wait to get it. I thought, this is going to be a life changer for me....I love to blend things and I only wanted the best! It arrived,...
