LOVE CONQUERS ALL DAY
Posted by Benjamin Stevens on

Our love story began unconventionally. She was finishing high school, a vibrant 17-year-old, and I was just starting my university journey. Things moved quickly, a whirlwind of young love and the weight of expectation. At 19 and 18, we found ourselves married, parents to a beautiful two-month-old daughter. We were both raised in conservative Christian homes, and marriage felt like the only path or at least the right path. But the path wasn't paved with roses. Doubts and disapproval surrounded us. I remember my best man's words before the ceremony: "It's not too late, you can change your mind." It...

A Lady's Touch
Posted by Lisa Stevens on

I used to have a blog…before this one. It was years ago. It was called A Lady's Touch (Or A Ladies Touch, I cannot even remember exactly what it was called, if anyone remembers, or has a link, I would love it! lol). It was very different from this one. Our business is considered a lifestyle business...which means we do our business as part of our life. We share our products but we also give you a peek into our daily lives. One statement we get a lot from people we talk to is this, "I could never work with my spouse." I find this baffling....I mean, is it easy...

28% is a horrible rating on Rotten Tomatoes. But I am in the 28%. I am embarrassed that I am....but I shouldn't be....since I am clearly not alone....not a huge following but not alone. One thing I love about it is that the vampires sparkle. I know that is so cheesy, but I like it. To think that they hide because of their beauty....not because the sun can hurt them, but because they are scared of the humans hurting them. This particular group of vampires choose not to get their substance from human blood, they choose to live among regular...
Nerves of Jello

I wrote this blog post last week as I knew I would be busy today, as Lisa is having surgery to remove her baby making cocoon, not the medical name. I call it this because I use humour to make things easier when I am uneasy about things that make me nervous. I know that these type surgeries happen everyday all over the world and we have the very best doctors and nurses, so I should feel at ease. Problem is my heart and head often fight it out and my heart tends to over power that part of my...
