Our love story began unconventionally. She was finishing high school, a vibrant 17-year-old, and I was just starting my university journey. Things moved quickly, a whirlwind of young love and the weight of expectation. At 19 and 18, we found ourselves married, parents to a beautiful two-month-old daughter. I used to have a blog…before this one. It was years ago. It was called A Lady's Touch (Or A Ladies Touch, I cannot even remember exactly what it was called, if anyone remembers, or has a link, I would love it! lol). It was very different from this one. The whole idea behind it was to share encouragement for wives. I was a pastor's wife at the time, I was always a little ‘risky’ as a pastor's wife. But I had a lot of women who followed my blog, because I gave them tangible ways to bless their husbands....

Our business is considered a lifestyle business...which means we do our business as part of our life. We share our products but we also give you a peek into our daily lives. Not everyone wants that kind of exposure...but we really enjoy it. It makes our "job" fun and the amount of compassion and support we receive from everyone (our customers and those we meet at events who are customers-to-be...lol) is unbelievable.  One statement we get a lot from people we talk to is this, "I could never work with my spouse." I find this baffling....I mean, is it easy...

28% is a horrible rating on Rotten Tomatoes. But I am in the 28%. I wrote this blog post last week as I knew I would be busy today, as Lisa is having surgery to remove her baby making cocoon, not the medical name.  I call it this because I use humour to make things easier when I am uneasy about things that make me nervous.  I know that these type surgeries happen everyday all over the world and we have the very best doctors and nurses, so I should feel at ease.  Problem is my heart and head often fight it out and my heart tends to over power that part of my...
