When Christmas Doesn't Feel Like Christmas
Posted by Lisa Stevens on
Today's blog may not happen. Maybe it will end up being a list of things I love or a list of things I hate. Maybe it will just be a jumbled mess of all the lists running around in my head. I doubt anyone could make sense of it, I surely cannot. Christmas season is here. There are lists of things to do, places to go, people to see....and each of those are both personally and business related for us. Christmas used to be my favourite time of the year. I loved everything about it. I still try to enjoy...
The Ballet of Sports

This past week on my Facebook feed some guys were showing pictures of their "trip of a lifetime". They went away together to see their favourite sports team perform. They looked like they had a great time...I am so happy that they were able to take that trip together. But it did remind me of this blog that I wrote ages ago (sometimes I pre-write them and then use them when I don't have time to write a new one....today I technically have the time...but since I saw their pictures, I figured now was as good a time as any to...

More often than not, I went as a hobo (maybe not politically correct anymore but it was an easy costume....lol) or a postman, since that is what my dad was, we always had a costume ready to go! lol My greatest childhood...
My Nemesis - Housework!

We are a big family....not as big as some, for sure, but right now there are 8 people living in this house, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 lizard and 5 fish. That is a lot of bodies AND a lot of stuff that goes along with those bodies. We have a good sized house , not huge but big enough. The way it is set up, people can get some alone time if they so choose, which is important to help everyone's sanity. The biggest issue we run in to is with the stuff. People using it (which is what...
