Not that long ago we had chickens here at Ever After Acres but decided it was best for our family to get rid of them. One particular chicken will always be remembered because we are pretty sure he was a zombie chicken.This particular rooster was a very large and aggressive bird that after a variety of attempts to deal with the issue we realized we had to kill him, as he wasn't safe to be around. We have never really shared much about the story of what happened to all our chickens. This is that story.When we moved to the country here at Ever After Acres we were convinced by the kids that we should get chickens. We agreed making it crystal clear the work involved was on the kids and that we would help, but ultimately it was their responsibility.
