Posted by Lisa Stevens on
Please bear with me as I take you down the rabbit hole of my mind... For months now I have been exhausted...mentally, emotionally, physically...my soul has been tired. Several times I have told Ben I just needed a few weeks to slow down/stop life, I need to sleep when I was tired and relax when I am awake, if I felt I needed to. I love my life, I really do...the business and the homeschooling and the dogs (I bring up dogs because one of ours has been very sick...so added stress)...I would not trade it for anyone else's set...

Hello world...everything right now is insane...for real. I honestly feel like we are living a movie/book, crazy stuff is happening....seriously I would not be the least bit surprised if zombies started walking the streets (too much Walking Dead?LOL) or if aliens arrived from the sky....but alas, that is not what this blog post is about. But this blog post is about how much I enjoy when they are not around. lol This week is March Break here in New Brunswick. Usually we try and do something as a family, even just hanging at the house with movies and popcorn and homemade pizza, or sliding or skating. But...

Why Is Friendship So Hard?
Posted by Lisa Stevens on
Do you remember being a kid and having friends? How did we ever get those friends? I remember walking down the street to the park, if there was a kid there and we said hi....now we are friends, it was that easy. None of this, do you like the same things? Do our personalities go together? We were just kids and did kid stuff and became friends. As a child, I had different sets of friends....my parents friends had kids, we were friends....my neighbourhood had kids, we were friends....my school had kids, we were friends. As I got older more...
