Hasta La Vista Baggie
Posted by Ben Stevens on
This month we are taking on a pretty big change for our family but it is one we feel is important. We are going to be giving up plastic baggies in our everyday life. Most of us call them zip lock bags from the brand name, sort of like Kleenex or Kraft Dinner. This may seem to some of you like not that difficult to do while for others you may be thinking there is no way you could give up zip lock bags. This is a very big deal for us, as we were very much a baggie family....
Let Me Waste Your Time For A Minute

I recently read a post of someone who said they hadn't watched any TV in like 3 months but had read 24 books. I was like wow that's impressive and felt a little guilty that I haven't read 24 books and I have watched my fair share of TV in the last 3 months. I know that these type surgeries happen everyday all over the world and we have the very best doctors and nurses, so I should feel at ease. Problem is my heart and head often fight it out and my heart tends to over power that part of my...
The End of a Chapter
Posted by Lisa Stevens on
I feel like all I ever do in my blog posts is open my heart and let everyone in. This post will go along with that theme. lol On March 14th, I will be having a much needed surgery. (I am not going to go into details about why it is much needed….) But the emotional anguish it will have on me is what I will talk about. This is the end of a chapter in my life. It is a chapter that has lasted most of my life. I am very glad it is ending….but that does not make...
