Community Kindness Lip Balm
More than 235,000 people in Canada experience homelessness in any given year. The number of homeless people, and the length of time they spend homeless, continue to rise.
Our label says Community Kindness, what does this mean? Why did we choose it? Communities have been around since the beginning of time. While there are still "communities" today, the way they function and the way we function as humans has changed in the Westernized world. Once a community was "your people", you lived near them, you shared your resources and knowledge, you worked together to uphold everyone. Now a community is solely known as the area in which you live. Which is not the same thing at all. So often now, because this lack of community, we also lack kindness to those suffering around us. Our hope is that with this lip balm, we have given you a practical way to help those in our communities to survive and thrive, through donating $1 from every sale to a charity that helps those in need and also by using this vanilla flavoured lip balm, seeing the label design and reminding you that you are not alone and to always choose kindness when dealing with yourself and others around you.
Our lip balms are made with all natural ingredients. We do our very best to use the ingredients known to be beneficial to our lips and their health. We avoid adding sugars and items that can damage sensitive lips.
We also believe in being ecologically friendly and therefore make sure our lip balms tubes are recyclable. When they are empty give them a quick rinse and throw them in your blue/recyclable garbage.
